ROSWELL, GA. – Dr. Rodothea Milatou-Smith, Medical Director at U.S. HealthWorks in Roswell, is among the many outstanding physicians that make up the talented team of medical professionals at U.S. HealthWorks.
Dr. Milatou-Smith has been with U.S. HealthWorks since 1997, when she joined the team in Atlanta as Medical Director. She has been practicing Occupational Medicine for 23 years.

Dr. Milatou-Smith began her medical career by earning her MD degree from Spartan Health Sciences University in St. Lucia, West Indies in 1986. After completing her internship at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center/Blank Children’s Hospital in 1988, she completed her residency in Occupational Medicine and Environmental health at the Rocky Mountain Center of Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
She earned her MPH degree in Public Health at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and completed two years of research in Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology at the Swedish National Institute for Working Life and Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm.
Dr. Milatou-Smith is Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, has served as Adjunct Assistant Professor/Preceptor at the Department of Primary Care Nursing at Kennesaw State University, and has publications in major international medical journals.
She is a member of the American Occupational and Environmental Medicine Association and the Swedish Occupational Health Association. Dr. Milatou-Smith is a certified DOT Examiner by the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners and is fluent in English, Greek, Spanish and French.
